About the Role:
As a Growth Strategist at Vaan, you'll be primarily focused on markets in the US and Canada. You will lead the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure success across a variety of ecommerce projects.
In this role, you will:
Lead Strategic Discovery: Engage with clients to fully understand their business challenges, identifying growth opportunities and translating them into actionable ecommerce strategies.
Take on Large and Small Targets: Work closely with relevant teams to develop and pitch large scale initiatives like Loyalty or Subscription, but also smaller, potentially hyper-tailored offer design to engage key consumer segments for clients.
Develop Innovative Growth Solutions: Create tailored, scalable ecommerce strategies that address client pain points and drive significant growth in their digital commerce efforts.
Collaborate on Client Pitches: Partner with the sales team during client pitches, serving as the strategy expert, presenting data-driven insights, and showcasing potential solutions.
Performance Tracking & Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure strategies are effective. Adapt and refine approaches based on real-time data to optimize client outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, project managers, and external stakeholders to implement a strategic roadmap that aligns with the goals and business outcomes of our clients.
Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, new technologies, and competitors’ strategies to ensure we provide cutting-edge solutions for our clients.
Drive Efficiency & Scalability: Assist in scoping, ensuring feasibility, and creating realistic timelines that maximize both efficiency and profitability, leading to a seamless project delivery.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, offering ongoing insights and actionable recommendations to continuously enhance their ecommerce operations.
Internal Subject Matter Expert: Act as a specialist, collaborating with multiple clients alongside strategists and product owners (POs).
Drive Creative Solutions: Utilize "growth hacking" techniques to create innovative strategies in partnership with client marketing teams, delivering exceptional value.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with modern marketing approaches, focusing on how brands drive engagement and sales across various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead growth strategy meetings with potential and existing clients, documenting needs and proposing comprehensive, data-driven channel growth strategies.
Design and present robust ecommerce roadmaps, covering areas like user experience (UX), customer experience (CX), design, development, and product strategies.
Support the sales team by communicating growth strategies and collaborating on tailored client proposals.
Stay current with ecommerce platform trends, particularly in the Shopify ecosystem, apps, integrations, and other relevant tools.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical alignment and feasibility of strategies.
